Job Summary
Management Trainee will participate in a 3-year hospitality management development programme that combines academic learning, structured departmental rotations, practical workplace experience, and formal assessments. Responsibilities include gaining in-depth knowledge of hotel operations across departments (rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, guest amenities), completing department-specific objectives, supporting various departments as needed, learning operations management concepts, engaging with experienced colleagues, and completing academic modules and competency sign-offs while building leadership capabilities. The programme emphasizes guest service, commercial awareness, and leadership fundamentals through hands-on tasks, performance reviews, coaching, and project work. Eligibility includes Grade 12; willingness to rotate across departments and shifts; professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to timely completion of assignments and assessments. Location: Mount Nelson, Cape Town, South Africa (Luxurious hospitality setting).
