Job Summary
Management Trainee role to rotate through Acme Barricades' branches, assisting managers with day-to-day operations, sales, budgeting, staffing, and policy implementation. Trainees may rotate to different branches/divisions to learn all company functions and will be exposed to and perform every role in the branch. The position requires relocation openness and emphasizes leadership development, process improvements, and collaboration across management levels to drive profitable outcomes. Responsibilities include coordinating branch operations, managing equipment and resources, liaising with suppliers and partners, recruiting and developing staff, monitoring pricing and marketing activities, supporting strategy and policy-making, and ensuring safety and compliance. Strong emphasis on initiative, adaptability, communication, and the ability to work across varying schedules and environments, including driving responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years in assistant management of a service, warehouse or construction branch
- Valid driver’s license; passing MVR and background checks may be required
- Strong communication, time management and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience assessing and preparing operational documentation
