Job Summary
Design and manage chargeback mechanisms to allocate technology service costs to business units, ensuring accurate distribution across infrastructure, software, and services. Support annual budgeting and forecasting while monitoring expenditure against budgets to identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Define and track vendor KPIs and SLAs, conducting regular performance reviews to assess delivery against contractual obligations and drive continuous improvement. Provide detailed cost reports and dashboards to stakeholders, analyzing spending patterns to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization. Act as a point of contact for business units regarding service charges, resolving disputes and collaborating with Finance and Technology teams to align costs with organizational strategies. Develop policies for effective chargeback management and streamline processes where possible. This hybrid role in New York supports Revlon's global beauty portfolio by ensuring technology spend is transparent, well-governed, and aligned with financial policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Extensive experience in financial management, cost accounting, or chargeback processes, preferably within a technology or IT services environment
- Demonstrated expertise in managing cost allocation and chargeback models in complex organizational settings
- Familiarity with Technology financial management frameworks such as Technology Business Management (TBM)
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Experience working with financial tools and enterprise systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to create financial dashboards and insights
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and their financial implications
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units
- Line management responsibility, providing clear direction, coaching, performance development, and support to colleagues in line with organizational policies and values
- Ability to translate financial and operational goals into actionable cost allocation and optimization strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
- Capable of guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across IT, finance, and business units
- Deep understanding of cost allocation principles, budgeting processes, chargeback methodologies, and financial governance
- Adept at interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive cost optimization and efficiency
- High capability to explain complex financial concepts clearly, resolve disputes, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Technical proficiency, including expertise in SAP, Hyperion and other financial systems, along with use in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Power BI)
- Detail-oriented and compliance-focused, ensuring all financial processes meet regulatory requirements and support audit readiness
- Results-oriented approach, focused on continuous improvement, automating processes, and delivering measurable impact on cost management and financial transparency
