Job Summary
Management & Sales Training Program at Sherwin-Williams is an accelerated, entry-level program to prepare you for Store Management in 18-24 months, with promotion toward Assistant Store Manager after initial training. The typical schedule is 44 hours per week and may include evenings and/or weekends. You will collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, learn operations, clients, and internal strategy, and grow market share by selling to large, commercial users such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, and other commercial customers. The program provides leadership development and training across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, with a structured path toward a management career and open-ended advancement. The role involves contact with customers (including minors), access to cash and payment methods, and handling store merchandise and other items of value, with a criminal history review to protect the business and customers.
