Job Summary
Conduct daily plant operations and master end-to-end processes through structured rotation and training. Assist with production scheduling, cross-departmental coordination, and tracking operational efficiency metrics. Uphold EHS standards by identifying site risks and preventing incidents while maintaining ISO-compliant records and documentation. Lead continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost control, and process optimization. Progressively assume operational leadership responsibilities to transition into a fully independent Operations Lead or Manager role. This development program prepares candidates to independently lead teams and drive department KPIs within Veolia's hazardous waste treatment plant in Taiwan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related engineering disciplines
- 5+ years of relevant experience in chemical plants or process manufacturing environments
- Native or fluent in Mandarin Chinese
Desired Qualifications
- Direct experience in hazardous waste management, incineration processes, Pollution Control Technologies (PCT), or environmental/utility systems
- Familiarity with—or strong willingness to learn—ISO management systems, 5S methodologies, and Lean continuous improvement concepts
- Proven ability to analyze on-site operational issues, propose solutions, and track results using data-driven metrics
- Strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, highly resilient under pressure, eager to adopt new technologies and modern management frameworks, and willing to participate in overseas training programs when required
