Job Summary
Review procurement purchase requests, analyze technical specifications, and conduct market research to obtain price quotes for open purchases. Document findings in the eRetrograde Management System, ERP, and other designated databases, then input Military Standard Requisitioning & Issue Procedures and purchase requests accurately. Track the status of all initiated requests through the entire Navy ERP workflow, reviewing for errors to ensure approval. Create outgoing funding documents and prioritize tasks according to the project schedule while adhering to normal working hours and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related discipline
- 1+ years directly related DoD experience
- 1-3 years knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- 1-3 years knowledge or experience in the DoD or Government environment
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Adhering to normal working hours
- Meeting deadlines
- Following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook
- Communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s)
- Staying focused on the assigned tasks
- Completing other tasks as assigned
- Strong ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Superior attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of technical experience in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) efforts to include; system support, logistics/equipment support, and programmatic support
- Project or Program Management Professional Certification
- Certified DAWIA Level 2 or 3 in Program Management
- Direct experience with U.S. Navy and NSWC PHD processes and systems
