Job Summary
Prepare monthly management accounts for up to five countries, manage cost centre reporting, and ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and stock revaluations. Support the Finance Manager in monthly management information meetings and coordinate group and local-level audit processes to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with tax advisors on global tax policies and deadlines, while working with the Payroll Manager to reconcile payroll and ensure timely payments. Assist with ad-hoc process improvement projects and year-end financial control activities within a private equity-backed global business. The role offers study support towards CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- part-qualified or qualified accountant
- strong management accounting experience
- excellent attention to detail
- confidence in challenging approaches
- strong relationship-building skills
- advanced Excel skills
- working towards CIMA, ACCA and ACA qualification, with one year remaining
- track record of working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented or private equity-backed business environment
- experience producing management accounts and financial analysis to tight deadlines
- strong background in variance analysis, cost control and performance reporting
- valid right to work in the UK
