Job Summary
Management Accountant focused on operational finance for product/inventory-driven businesses; responsibilities include data management, crafting dashboards and variance analyses, and leveraging AI-enabled workflows to accelerate data processing, reporting, and analysis. You’ll collaborate with seasoned professionals to support client financial objectives, help optimize financial processes, coordinate team workflows, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives with executives, auditors, and legal advisers. The role emphasizes automation, modern tooling, and staying current with accounting developments. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement in Stellenbosch, ZA, with intent to develop leadership within a collaborative, development-focused culture.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce, distribution, or any product/inventory-driven business is a strong advantage
- A degree in Management Accounting, Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of post-articles work experience OR 5+ years of relevant experience (without a professional qualification)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Project Management Skills: ability to drive tasks to completion
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including executives, founders, auditors, and legal advisors
- Exposure to or familiarity with AI tools and modern workflows
