Job Summary
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, commentary, and KPI reporting while leading the monthly forecasting and budgeting cycles. Partner with the Finance Director to provide insight and decision support, working closely with operational and commercial teams to analyze performance drivers. Support cashflow forecasting, working capital analysis, and scenario modelling, while maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring data integrity. Assist with year-end processes, audit preparation, and statutory requirements, and identify opportunities to improve reporting and financial visibility. Provide ad-hoc analysis to the Senior Leadership Team to support strategic initiatives. Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) required with strong Excel skills. Salary £50,000 - £60,000.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within an SME or fast-paced environment
- Confident producing management accounts, forecasts, and insightful analysis
- Comfortable working hands-on with data, systems, and operational teams
- Strong Excel and financial systems capability
- A proactive mindset — someone who spots issues early and drives solutions
- Energetic, curious, and commercially minded
- Hands-on, detail-driven, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves
- Confident communicating with senior stakeholders
