Job Summary

Deliver accurate monthly management reporting, financial analysis, and insights to support business performance. Partner with operational leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial decision-making while monitoring financial performance and investigating variances to improve profitability. Manage statutory compliance obligations including BAS, PAYG, and GST, oversee payroll reconciliations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes. Report directly to the CFO in a Perth-based hybrid role within HealthEx Group, a leading provider of evidence-based rehabilitation services across Australia.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA, CA or relevant qualification
  • Significant Australian experience in relevant finance leadership role
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Sound understanding of Australian taxation requirements including GST, PAYG, Payroll Tax, and statutory compliance
  • Advanced MS skills, including Excel, Power Query and Power BI
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement

  • Managing key taxation and compliance obligations, including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements
  • Overseeing payroll reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial controls and compliance processes are maintained
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems, reporting, and business processes
  • Based in Perth
