Job Summary
Manage end-to-end preparation of Business Activity Statements and corporate tax obligations, ensuring readiness for final sign-off. Oversee payroll integrity and triage internal enquiries while maintaining General Ledger cleanliness, including intercompany loans and multi-currency adjustments. Assist with statutory initiatives like R&D tax incentive claims and act as the primary contact for external audits. Support NZ and UK regions on compliance needs and collaborate on rolling cash flow forecasting and monthly management reporting. Continuously refine internal accounting policies, controls, and standard operating procedures. This CA/CPA-qualified role offers direct mentorship from the Financial Controller in a fully remote position, with a preference for Brisbane or Melbourne locations.
Required Qualifications
- CA/CPA qualified, or in the final stages of completion
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting environment, corporate finance team, or mid-tier/Big 4 chartered firm
- Fully remote
- preferably located within Brisbane or Melbourne
