Management Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules for cash, warranties, leases, prepayments, and accruals. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate variances, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transaction accuracy. Support the preparation of internal financial reporting, statutory accounts, and audit requirements while partnering with internal and external auditors. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and control environments through continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a professional accounting qualification, 2-3 years of experience, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)
- 2-3 years' experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, or similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP
- Experience preparing financial reconciliations and journal entries
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with financial systems and automated accounting platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret large volumes of financial data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting statutory audits
- Experience working within a publicly traded or multinational organisation
