Job Summary
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, prepare products, and process telephone orders. Take inventory, complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facilities daily. Manage delivery routes using navigational skills to locate addresses within the designated area, carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while navigating adverse terrain. Drive a company vehicle to make several deliveries per shift, climbing stairs and walking between the store and customer locations. Handle adverse weather conditions and varying in-store temperatures up to 90 degrees. Perform repetitive tasks under stress while meeting strict quality control standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly
- Ability to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Far vision and night vision for driving
- Ability to direct activities
