Job Summary
Lead technical discovery and solution design for NetApp Managed Services engagements by assessing customer environments, analyzing infrastructure data, and defining security and operational requirements. Collaborate with sales teams and stakeholders to architect end-to-end solutions covering storage, cloud, monitoring, and automation, while driving transition strategies for customers moving from self-managed or incumbent provider environments. Provide subject matter expertise throughout the sales cycle and service delivery transition, ensuring compatibility with NetApp technologies and establishing service management frameworks aligned with ITIL v4 standards.
Required Qualifications
- ITIL v4 Certification and practical experience with ITIL-based service management processes
- Deep NetApp technical expertise (ONTAP, StorageGRID, SnapCenter, Keystone, BlueXP, etc.)
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, and hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience with customer discovery, infrastructure assessments, and operational readiness evaluations
- Knowledge of security, remote management, access controls, and compliance requirements in enterprise environments
- Experience with ITSM platforms, monitoring tools, and service integration frameworks
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and supportable Managed Services solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Managed Services architecture, consulting, or delivery for enterprise customers
- Experience transitioning customers from self-managed environments or third-party managed service providers
- Knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience solutions
- Familiarity with infrastructure discovery, monitoring, and performance analysis tools
- TOGAF or similar architecture certification (optional but desirable)
