Job Summary
Oversee full project lifecycle delivery for engineering services across pharmaceutical client sites, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and performance indicators. Act as project sponsor to support teams, make data-driven decisions, and drive continuous improvement through innovation. Build and sustain key relationships with new and existing clients while resolving concerns and developing innovative solutions to their challenges. Mentor project managers, engineers, and technical leads by providing leadership, guidance, and participation in performance evaluations. Manage resources to build skilled engineering teams and collaborate with internal functions including HR, Finance, and Business Development. Frequent travel to client sites for meetings is required. This senior leadership role reports to the Director of Managed Services and offers high autonomy to influence service delivery at scale.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years project experience in Life Science manufacturing environments
- Technical Qualifications to 3rd level or equivalent in Engineering or Science with a focus towards automation and validation
- Minimum of 3 years' experience leading teams or suppliers in automation project delivery
- Ability to demonstrate technical, project and interpersonal skills
- Experience in change management best practices
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision on a variety of technologies and project lifecycles
- In depth knowledge of Process Automation (DCS, PLC and SCADA), Labs and Process systems
- Strong understanding of project finances coupled with a commercial acumen
- Excellent communications with a strong customer focus
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal oversight, to tight timelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with GMP, GAMP, Safety and Environmental Regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates will ideally have 10+ years' experience in the Life Sciences sector or similar
