Job Summary
Lead the delivery of managed service solutions within the Assurance practice for asset and wealth management clients; oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, NAV oversight, capital activity processing, and audit coordination; mentor junior staff, manage client accounts, and drive project success while aligning with PwC’s standards. Role requires strong technical foundations in fund structures and GAAP/IFRS knowledge, along with hands-on experience configuring systems (Investran, LemonEdge, Geneva) and delivering data-driven insights (Power BI, Alteryx). Willingness to relocate to Bangalore and operate in a 4+1 hybrid model with India/US overlap hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- CA / CPA / ACCA MBA (Finance) or International CFA
- 7+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, fund controllership, or financial reporting
- Experience in asset management, private equity, real estate, or credit funds
- Big Four audit firms or fund administrators
- NAV oversight and review
- Capital activity processing (calls, distributions, waterfalls)
- Financial statement preparation and audit coordination
- Fund launches, system configuration, and chart of accounts setup
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and/or IN GAAP for investment entities
- Experience with fund accounting platforms (e.g., Investran, LemonEdge, Geneva)
- Ability to explain valuation changes and communicate with LPs
- Willingness to relocate to Bangalore and overlap hours in India/US
