Job Summary
Managed Services Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA responsible for second-line IT infrastructure support, proactively monitoring and resolving incidents to restore services per SLAs. You will review client requests, handle medium-complexity incidents, contribute to project work, escalate where needed, and collaborate with CoE and automation teams to optimize tasks and drive automation. The role includes coaching L1/service desk teams, establishing monitoring for client infrastructure, managing initial client escalations, contributing to change management, and producing trend analysis for automation opportunities. Requires proficiency with Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT qualification, and technical certification in listed technologies. Strong planning, adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and a client-focused mindset are essential, along with the ability to operate in an on-site environment in A Coruña, Spain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls
- At least one technical certification in the above-mentioned technologies
