Job Summary
The Managed Services Engineer (L3) is responsible for providing proactive incident resolution for clients, focusing on technical issues across multiple domains including Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, and Collaboration. The role requires advanced troubleshooting skills to manage complex tickets, maintain SLAs, and mentor junior team members. Key responsibilities include managing backup technologies (e.g., NetBackup, Networker), planning upgrades, monitoring performance, and executing datacenter migrations. Candidates should have expertise in enterprise infrastructure and become adept in leveraging backup management tools to address critical outages.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise class infrastructure
- Backup/Media servers upgrades/deployment/support EMC Networker/AVAMAR, VERITAS NetBackup, Commvault, Barracuda & Rubrik PureDisk, Data Domain
- Familiarity with DPA to configure the reports
- Understanding of basic Layer2 and Layer 3 backup concepts
- Ability to manage and work a ticketing support queue
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting backup failures
- Experience in executing datacenter migrations and DR tests
- Proficiency in creating and managing system documentation
