Job Summary
Managed Services Data Engineer responsible for designing and optimizing Databricks-based data platforms for clients. Build scalable pipelines in SQL and Python, advise on improvements in AI, security and governance, perform root-cause analyses and optimize complete workflow orchestration. Focus on event-driven ingestion and reliability engineering to ensure clients can rely on their platforms 24/7, with opportunities to specialize in modern technologies while working from Amsterdam and collaborating with a distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- HBO/WO werk- en denkniveau
- Minimaal 2–5 jaar ervaring als Data Engineer
- Aantoonbare ervaring met Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Jobs, orchestration)
- Aantoonbare ervaring met Python & SQL
- Datamodellering en Data lakehouses
- CI/CD en IaC (Azure, Terraform)
- Sterke ervaring met performance tuning & optimalisatie
- Ervaring met data management / Unity Catalog, security & compliance
- Ervaring binnen klantbeheerteams of cloud-operations omgevingen is een pré
- Ervaring met AI-tools bij de voortbrenging van data engineering oplossingen
- Relevante certificaten op het gebied van data engineering met Databricks en/of Azure
- Microsoft Fabric (pré)

- Streaming & event-based architectures (Kafka/Event Hubs)
