Job Summary
Managed Care Coordinator responsible for completing insurance requirements and providing case management support across patient care settings. Responsibilities include obtaining and communicating insurance benefit information, verifying coverage and eligibility, coordinating prior authorizations, assisting with appeals and denied claims, guiding patients on cost estimates and non-covered services, coordinating with providers and insurance carriers, and supporting financial navigation and documentation to align with organizational policies and patient care goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a medical/dental business office or healthcare setting; understanding of insurance eligibility and benefit verification
