Job Summary
Manage billing, receivables auditing, and collections for facilities within CommuniCare's corporate Managed Care Billing Department; hit monthly cash collection goals and minimize bad debt; interact with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims via telephone and written correspondence; requires knowledge of medical billing/collection practices and 3-5 years of managed care billing experience; emphasizes attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication, and strong organizational skills; supports a family-owned post-acute care provider with multiple facilities across states.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical billing/collection practices
- 3-5 years experience in managed care billing preferred
- Experience billing various Managed Care companies and understanding the requirements for each payor
- Claim appeal/resolution expertise preferred
- Strong verbal and written skills required in order to interact with insurance companies to resolve unpaid claims via telephone and written correspondence
- Basic computer literacy and skills
- Strong organizational skills a must
