Job Summary
Perform mammography and X-Ray examinations according to departmental technical standards while utilizing instructional methods to ensure accurate, timely, and accessible patient care. Provide safety and health protocols for patients, visitors, and co-workers, including readiness for emergency codes and life safety practices. Offer informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel, manage departmental clerical equipment for precise record-keeping, and maintain efficient office operations. This 36-hour full-time role in the Woolwich outpatient radiology practice includes occasional coverage in Mullica Hill, Deptford, or Glassboro, with a rotating schedule featuring Thursday through Saturday shifts and weekend rotations. Candidates must hold ARRT certification for mammography, a current NJ X-Ray license, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Full time, 36 hour per week
- Based in AMI's Woolwich office location
- Occasional coverage in Mullica Hill, Deptford, or Glassboro as needed
- 7:30am-8pm on Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Mammography
- Current Xray Technologist license in the State of NJ
- Full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection
- Mammography Certified/experienced
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained prior to the start of employment
- BLS certification must require hands on instruction
