Job Summary
Perform mammography examinations according to technical standards while ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Utilize instructional methods and departmental equipment to maintain accurate, timely office record keeping and documentation. Provide informal supervision and instructional advice to non-technical personnel assigned to the work area. Respond to emergency codes and life safety practices as established by the Practice. Ensure efficient and orderly patient flow and safe, expedient office operations daily. This 40-hour week includes Monday through Friday shifts with potential regional coverage in Brick, Wall, and Toms River.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Mammography certification
- Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of NJ
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification
- Full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection
