Job Summary
As a Mammography Technologist, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, guided procedures, specimen imaging, and bone density scans to support early detection and accurate diagnosis of breast health issues. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, documenting in the EMR, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and infection prevention protocols, and providing exceptional patient care. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact effectively with patients during vulnerable moments. This position requires adherence to ongoing competency evaluations and collaboration with interdepartmental teams.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Allied Health
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Mammography certification required within 12 months of employment
- Maintain ARRT and ODH licensure
