Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. Produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly perform required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Depending on location, utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams. This part-time, on-site role at Swedish First Hill supports a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care. Candidates must complete formal radiologic technology training and obtain ARRT registry, with specific mammography certification required within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
