Job Summary
Mammography Technologist performing routine and specialized breast imaging including biopsies and needle localization; works independently with sound judgment and develops clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner; maintains patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients and healthcare providers; adheres to privacy and safety regulations; may orient other staff to the department; proficient with imaging and information systems (RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, PACS) and basic computer applications; possesses knowledge of mammography principles, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks within standardized procedures; emphasizes patient care and collaboration with the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
- RHM-Radiology Mammography
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Per Diem/Casual schedule
- Level II or Level III experience described in posting
