Mammography Technologist - Radiology

Job Summary
Position patients, operate diagnostic x-ray and C-arm equipment, and perform fluoroscopic procedures in an acute care setting. Minimize radiation exposure by applying appropriate protection techniques, shielding devices, and low dose factors. Accurately input procedural data into electronic medical records, RIS, and PACS while obtaining patient history and verifying exam concordance. Perform related duties as required. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating holidays. New hires eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- State of Connecticut Radiographer license
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Interested in an opportunity to be cross-trained in Mammography
