Job Summary
Mammography Technologist (PT) performing a range of imaging procedures including mammography with emphasis on image quality, patient safety, and adherence to department procedures. In this role you will set up equipment, position patients, obtain complete clinical history, verify patient identifiers, and assist with pre/post-procedure care while maintaining QA standards and regulatory compliance. Must be ARRT-certified in Mammography (and Radiography) with at least 1 year of Mammography experience; strong communication and customer-service skills; Evening shift in Coweta County, GA.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT-M - ARRT Mammography
- ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography
- Minimum 1 year experience in Mammography
- Excellent communication skills
- Must exhibit customer service skills
- Detail oriented with multitasking ability
- Compliance with hospital policies and department procedures
- Competent in Mammography, patient positioning, exposure factors and radiation protection
