Job Summary
Perform mammography examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing sophisticated equipment to account for individual patient needs and age-related factors. Apply judgment regarding imaging techniques to produce optimal images. Obtain an Oregon Radiographer License and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, and achieve National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification within 180 days. Work part-time day shifts at Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR, supporting the organization's mission of caring for vulnerable community members.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
