Mammography Technologist - PRN

Perform routine and diagnostic breast imaging exams to obtain satisfactory images with minimal supervision. Interface with patients to ascertain medical history, explain procedures, and provide education on breast self-examination. Review charts for missed information, screen for implants and allergies, and obtain prior imaging as needed. Execute high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation while monitoring patient care before, during, and after exams. Transfer images to other locations and coordinate protocols with the radiologist. Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any quality concerns or failures immediately. Communicate with the lead technologist and center manager regarding departmental issues. Operate in a controlled outpatient clinical environment with potential radiation exposure. Two plus years of mammography experience preferred; current ARRT certification and mammography registry required.
