Job Summary
Perform high-quality radiographic images for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting while interacting with patients in a caring manner. Execute required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act and FDA. Complete mandatory 48-hour mammography training prior to commencing employment, followed by ARRT registration and BLS certification upon hire. Register as a National Registered Technologist - Mammography within one year of hire. This screening-only position supports the Providence mission to advocate, educate, and provide extraordinary care through patient-focused, whole-person care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time mammography experience
