Job Summary
Perform high-quality mammography imaging for breast disease diagnosis in a high-volume outpatient setting while interacting with patients in a caring manner. Execute required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams as dependent on location. Complete mandatory 48-hour mammography training prior to commencing employment and obtain Washington Radiologic Technologist status upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time mammography experience
