Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting. Produce high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly perform required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams as dependent on location. This screening-only Mammography Tech position is part of Pacific Medical Centers, a private, not-for-profit health care network affiliated with Providence. The role supports a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Full-time mammography experience
