Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly perform required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams as dependent on location. Complete mandatory 48-hour mammography training prior to commencing employment. This screening-only position offers per-diem day shifts at Pacific Medical Centers in Seattle, WA, with a base pay range of $44.06 to $69.55.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time mammography experience
