Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high volume outpatient setting, producing high quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependent on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams. Complete mandatory 48-hour mammography training course prior to commencing employment. This screening only Mammography Tech position offers a base pay range of $44.06 - $69.55 and is available on a Per-Diem schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time mammography experience
