Job Summary
Perform high-quality mammography screening exams in a high-volume outpatient setting while providing caring, comforting support to patients throughout their breast health journey. Execute required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams where location-dependent. Complete ARRT registration requirements, including obtaining Washington Radiologic Technologist status and National Provider BLS certification upon hire, with National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification required within one year. This screening-only position offers a per-diem schedule at Pacific Medical Centers in Bothell, WA, within the Providence family of organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience
