Job Summary
Perform high-quality radiographic imaging for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting. Produce diagnostic mammography images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner. Execute required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams as needed depending on location. Complete mandatory 48-hour mammography training prior to commencing employment.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years full-time mammography experience
