Job Summary
Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring manner. Jointly perform required quality control activities mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams where dependent on location. This screening-only position supports the breast health journey at Pacific Medical Centers, a private, not-for-profit network affiliated with Providence, serving King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties with cutting-edge technology and board-certified providers.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of Full-time mammography experience
