Job Summary
Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms for breast cancer detection while preparing patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety, and adjusting exposure factors based on radiographic protocols. Maintain equipment in proper working order, perform required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and state regulations, and ensure radiation protection using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding. Manage patient confidentiality, process paperwork and data entry, and assist the radiologist with QA/QC reporting and accreditation maintenance. Cover on a moment's notice across various office environments using 3D tomosynthesis equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be up to date on all CME credits
- Must be very patient centric, compassionate, and computer savvy
- Willing to cover on a moment's notice
- Mammography: 2 years (Required)
- ARRT (Required)
