Job Summary
Performs mammography diagnostic or therapeutic procedures under supervision, educating patients for procedures and expectations, and maintaining documentation of care. Adheres to department policies and safety protocols, participates in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives, and supports the radiology department’s workflow. Requires completion of an education program accredited by JRCERT, ARRT registration, and within 2 years of hire advanced certification in Mammography; BLS certification; and NH licensure/certification by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy. Physical demands include lifting and maneuvering, color and depth vision, exposure to radiation, and other workplace risks typical of a hospital imaging environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- Advance certification in Mammography required within 2 years of hire
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (or equivalent)
- Licensed and Certified by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
