Mammography Technologist Part Time

Job Summary
Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures, ensuring proper equipment function and meticulous attention to detail during all exams. Apply analytical skills to interpret images, assess quality, and verify patient information while communicating with radiologists regarding results. Accurately complete patient information, paperwork, medical records, and billing tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation and result delivery. Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements and adhere to mandated continuing education. Work independently without supervision, escalating results exceeding standard turnaround times to management or a radiologist as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
- ARRT Registration R.T.(R)
- ARRT Certification in Mammography (M)
- State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable)
- Maintain registry status and continuing education
- Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties
- Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English
- Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements
- Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred
