Job Summary
Part-time Mammography Technologist needed in Arlington, TX for Envision Imaging of North Arlington. Performs routine and diagnostic breast imaging and bone-density exams, interfaces with patients to obtain histories, reviews charts for consent and implants, transfers images as needed, coordinates protocols with Radiologist, and maintains/inspects equipment. Requires ARRT certification (Mammography and Bone Densitometry), state license if applicable, CPR/BLS, and completion of mammography orientation and 3D tomosynthesis training. Two+ years in Mammography and Bone Density preferred; strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills emphasized. Work environment is outpatient clinical with radiation precautions and PPE; part-time schedule includes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts with potential for additional duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Mammography (M)
- Registry in Bone Densitometry (BD) through ARRT or CBDT through ISCD
- Complete 40 hours of mammography orientation
- Complete 8 hours of 3D tomosynthesis training (if applicable)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Two plus years’ experience in Mammography – preferred
- Two plus years’ experience in Bone Density - preferred
