Mammography Technologist Part Time

Job Summary

Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures, ensuring proper equipment function and meticulous attention to detail during all exams. Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams, apply analytical skills to interpret images and verify patient information, and accurately complete patient paperwork and administrative tasks. Maintain medical records, including consents and billing, while ensuring timely result delivery and escalating delays as needed. Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements and adhere to mandated continuing education. Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
  • ARRT Registration R.T.(R)
  • ARRT Certification in Mammography (M)
  • State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable)
  • Maintain registry status and continuing education
  • Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties
  • Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English
  • Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred
