Job Summary
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while positioning patients accurately and selecting technical factors for optimal images. Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the process. Collaborate closely with radiologists to deliver accurate results, maintain radiation safety compliance, and uphold infection control standards. Prepare patients for procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in on-call coverage for trained modalities. Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Mammography certification or willingness to obtain
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
