Job Summary
Perform mammography examinations according to technical standards while ensuring patient, visitor, and co-worker safety through established emergency protocols. Utilize departmental instructional methods and clerical equipment to maintain accurate, timely office record keeping. Provide informal supervision to non-technical personnel and ensure efficient patient flow. Maintain full knowledge of radiation protection and operate all related duties as assigned to support safe, expedient office operations. Requires ARRT registration with Mammography certification, NJ licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Previous DEXA experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Mammography certification
- Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the State of NJ
- American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification
- Full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection
- Full time, 40 hour per week availability
- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm schedule availability
