Job Summary
Mass General Brigham is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Responsible for operating mammographic equipment, positioning patients, selecting appropriate exposure factors, evaluating images for diagnostic quality, preparing and supplying materials using aseptic technique when appropriate, and explaining procedures to patients. The role requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred associate’s degree in a related field, state radiologic technologist licensure, and mammography/ARRT credentials as well as BLS; 2-3 years of relevant experience is required. The position is onsite with Saturday shift hours (7am–1pm) and an hourly pay range of $43.10–$45.36, with a minimum and maximum annualized salary of $89,648 and $94,349 respectively. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Radiologic Technologist license (State License) - HR Only preferred
- Mammography RT (ARRT) - preferred
- Registered Technologist (RT(R)(ARRT)) - preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - preferred
- 2-3 years experience in radiology/mammography
- Ability to position patients and use immobilization as needed
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
