Job Summary
Perform all professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse. Produce and evaluate images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis while acting in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Coordinate exams performed and assume responsibility for related clerical tasks. This part-time role involves 8-hour day shifts at the Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience in Mammography
- Experience with MQSA standards
