Job Summary
Provide mammography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, functioning as the first line interface with patients to accomplish their needs. Participate in CQI/PI activities while maintaining compliance with ACR and MQSA standards. Requires prior mammography experience, an accredited radiologic technology program graduate, ARRT registration for radiologic and mammography technologist, current BCLS certification, and proficiency in radiologic terminology, anatomy, and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in mammography
- Graduate from an accredited program in radiologic technology
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R) (ARRT)
- Registered mammography technologist by the ARRT
- Current BCLS certification
- Thorough knowledge of radiologic terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong computer skills
- Keep in compliance with the ACR and MQSA
