Job Summary

Perform mammographic procedures of routine and difficult nature, including screening and diagnostic imaging services for patients. Participate in scheduling procedures for the Breast Imaging Center and train/evaluate other technologists in performing mammographic procedures. Conduct breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis while supporting research on new technologies for diagnosing and treating breast tissue abnormalities. Requires AMA-approved radiologic technology program completion, ARRT Mammography certification, Maryland Radiography license, and CPR certification within three months. Full-time day shift (8:00am–4:30pm) Monday through Friday with salary commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program
  • ARRT Mammography certified with current registration
  • Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians
  • CPR certification required within three months of employment
  • 3 to 6 months' experience performing mammography Radiology procedures
  • Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position
