Job Summary
Perform mammographic procedures of routine and difficult nature, including screening and diagnostic imaging services such as 3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Participate in scheduling procedures for the Breast Imaging Center and train and evaluate other technologists in performing mammographic procedures. Conduct breast biopsies as part of breast cancer diagnosis while supporting research projects evaluating new technologies and artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage. Full-time day shift (8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday) with a salary range of $39.56 to $65.34 per hour. Applicants must hold an AMA-approved radiologic technology degree, current ARRT Mammography certification, and a Maryland Radiography license.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program
- ARRT Mammography certified with current registration
- Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians
- CPR certification required within three months of employment
- 3 to 6 months' experience performing mammography Radiology procedures
- Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)
